About Me
I’m Rayhan Kader, a senior at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), set to graduate in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Technologies. As a US citizen with a diverse background, having lived in both New York City and Dhaka, Bangladesh, I bring a unique perspective to my work and studies. I’m currently seeking full-time opportunities in Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience through internships at Adaptive Biotechnologies, Wex, and Maximus. I’ve had the opportunity to reduce deployment times with automated infrastructure provisioning, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and work with a wide array of tools like AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Jenkins. One of my favorite personal projects is an AWS-hosted exponents calculator app that integrates services like Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Amplify. In addition to my technical skills, I take pride in my leadership abilities. As President of the Muslim Student Association at RIT, I led a team that raised $15,000 for charity while fostering a strong sense of community on campus. My experience as a Resident Advisor also helped me develop skills in conflict resolution and community building. With a solid foundation in programming (Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, SQL) and frameworks (React, Django, Node.js), I’m passionate about solving complex challenges and contributing to innovative engineering solutions. I’m always eager to learn and grow, and I look forward to bringing my technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to a dynamic team.
