About Me
I am a 22 year old english-speaking individual who graduated college with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and coursework in Early Childhood education. I have also obtained a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Western Governors University. I am currently working as a kindergarten teacher in Montgomery County, MD. I have 7+ years experience in early childhood education, with most of my time working in pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade. I am extremely passionate about helping and educating children. I have interned and taught in multiple different classrooms and love to help students any way that I can. In addition to teaching during the day, I tutor kindergarten and first grade students after school to improve their reading skills. I am able to plan and execute my own lessons effectively, specializing in language and literacy. I am looking to move from working directly in the classroom to conducting research that helps students and families succeed. Through my education at Towson and Western Governors University, as well as a program at the University of Chicago, I have successfully researched and written about various aspects of Early childhood development. I am extremely passionate about this research and would love the opportunity for this to be my career. I am a very hardworking person that puts my all into what I do. I am a great team player, a quick learner, and love to take on leadership positions. I am extremely dedicated to the wellbeing of everyone and I will ensure every project I complete will be done with care and fidelity.
