About Me
As an Electrical Engineer with a passion for power systems and signal stability, I graduated from NED University of Engineering & Technology in 2024. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems at North Carolina State University (NCSU). My academic journey, enriched by hands-on projects and a keen interest in technological advancements, has honed my skills in PSCAD, MATLAB, C++, and ETAP. During my internship at K-Electric, I delved into the intricacies of Karachi’s Generation-Transmission-Distribution network, gaining practical insights into SCADA systems, load shedding management, and fault prevention techniques. This experience has solidified my understanding of real-world applications and challenges in the electrical engineering domain. My final year project at NED focused on Small Signal Stability Analysis of a Defined Kundur/IEEE Benchmark Network, where I developed a comprehensive analysis using PSCAD to enhance power system stability through PSS fine-tuning. Beyond academia, I contributed to the IEEE PES NEDUET chapter as the Director of Documentation, where I refined my skills in research paper writing, report preparation, and critical analysis. Driven by curiosity and a desire to innovate, I am excited to explore new opportunities in the field of electrical engineering and contribute to cutting-edge projects. Let's connect and explore how we can drive the future of power systems together.
