About Me
I’m Satya Bonepalli, a senior at Purdue University majoring in Data Analytics. My experiences span across technical roles and leadership positions, reflecting my passion for problem-solving and driving impactful outcomes. I’ve worked as a Data Analyst Intern for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, where I cleaned and analyzed data using tools like Excel, PL/SQL, and Tableau to improve permit processes. During my remote externship with HP Tech Ventures, I researched startup ecosystems, cleaned data, and created market maps to recommend high-potential investments. Currently, I serve as a Senior Leader for Purdue’s Supplemental Instruction program, leading a team of 40 student leaders, facilitating training sessions, and analyzing data to improve academic retention. My research at Purdue has focused on human and AI sensemaking and boosting agricultural efficiency through data analysis for Beck's Hybrids. Proficient in Python, SQL, and Tableau, I’m passionate about using data to inform strategic decision-making and create value. My goal is to contribute to industries like fintech and consulting, where I can combine my analytical skills and leadership abilities to make a meaningful impact.
