Hi there! I’m Sergine Belance, a student at Queensborough Community College, where I’m currently diving into Liberal Arts—but I’m gearing up to make a switch to Communication Media soon! I’m super excited to gain experience in this field to sharpen my skills and gear up for amazing opportunities ahead. With over three years in the retail world, I’ve picked up a treasure trove of skills, like problem-solving and cash handling. I’ve mastered the art of teamwork, organization, and even the fine craft of selling products to customers. Plus, I’ve learned to pay attention to the little details that make a big difference in how products shine on the shelves! And let’s not forget my adventure in the restaurant industry, where I spent over a year perfecting those same skills in a bustling environment. On top of that, I’ve had a fantastic two-month experience working with kids, which taught me the joys of patience and creativity. I’ve discovered how to keep them entertained while sneakily providing educational moment because learning can be a blast!
