About Me
As a passionate and driven data science and mathematics student at Indiana University East, I am dedicated to leveraging data to solve complex problems and drive impactful decisions. My academic journey is complemented by a strong foundation in machine learning, data analysis, and statistical modeling, further enriched by a Machine Learning Foundations Certificate from Cornell University through the prestigious Break Through Tech AI program. In my professional experience, I've had the opportunity to lead and collaborate on data-driven projects across various industries. As an AI Studio Fellow at Verizon, I spearheaded the development of a generative AI system that streamlined the creation of technology data sheets. My role as a Contract Analyst at CDW Corporation allowed me to refine my skills in data management and analysis, where I optimized a database containing over 500 contracts, improving operational efficiency by over 50%. Additionally, my internship at Bank of America honed my expertise in data visualization and quality assurance, enabling me to contribute to critical operational processes. My leadership roles in organizations such as Blacks in Technology Chicago, where I serve as President, and Out in Tech Chicago, where I lead marketing initiatives, reflect my commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. These experiences, along with my role as a Data Lead at SpaceLab, have equipped me with the ability to manage and analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and drive strategic decision-making. I am proficient in a range of tools and software, including MS Office Suite, AWS Sagemaker, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Python, R, and Alteryx. My goal is to continue developing my skills in data science and machine learning, with a focus on using these tools to create solutions that can make a meaningful impact on businesses and communities alike.
