I am Yu-Cheng Hwang, a dedicated full-stack software engineer with a strong passion for creating impactful and efficient solutions. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University, I bring a solid academic foundation paired with hands-on expertise. In my role at AtSquareone Inc., I developed JWT authentication for RESTful APIs, significantly enhancing user security and experience. I also engineered a CMS using Django on Google Cloud Platform, improving operational efficiency by over 200%. By utilizing Next.js and Redux, I boosted user engagement by 50% and designed backend solutions with AWS and PostgreSQL to enhance system stability. During my research at the Exploratory Systems Lab, I explored distributed systems, addressing gaps in consensus theories, and improved monitoring capabilities with tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
